Client side Senior Civil Project Engineer possessing a strong bulk earthworks background to work on a variety of water dam/tailings dam projects.
Benefits:
- Max term contract - 36 months/3 years. Competitive salary offered.
- Perth CBD office based, ad hoc site visits. During second half of 2025, will be more site visits as project moves into construction.
- Experienced and friendly team in place
Qualifications & Skills:
- Formal Engineering qualifications
- Strong Civil Bulk Earthworks experience
- Tailings/Dams project experience required
- Civil contractor experience required. Good understanding of construability
- Ability to drive projects in execution
- Strong background in work package delivery with a good understanding of procurement, tender/contract documentation, schedule, cost tracking, reporting and quality.
- Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Able top complete a range of project documentation
- Excellent safety attitude
Duties & Responsibilities
- Producing scopes of work and working closely with technical teams from engineering consultants
- Working with other subject matter experts, project stakeholders (including Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Technical Services, and other engineering disciplines), contractors, and consultants
- The role will also liaise with external parties including equipment and service vendors as well as statutory bodies.
- Good understanding of tender and contract documentation
- Strong background in work package delivery with a good understanding of procurement, tender/contract documentation, schedule, cost tracking, reporting and quality.
