About the Role:

• Senior Project Engineer - Civil required to work on a key water package for a large iron ore project. Also other key sustaining capital projects to mobilise onto once the initial package is completed.
• Well regarded engineering and project delivery consultant servicing the mining and resources sector.
• Developing and implementing project controls, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Writing reports and scopes of work, and developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitoring progress and identifying potential problems with respect for budgets, schedules, and engineering standards.
• Providing estimating scheduling, and reporting.
• Provide stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships through conducting work in a professional and productive manner.
• Initial 12 month contract with strong chance of extension
• Perth CBD based

Key Criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering
• Experience within Mining, engineering design, and sustaining capital project environments.
• Consultant/owner side environment preferred
• Strong background delivering civil and water packages
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
