Senior Civil Project Engineer to work on key bulk earthworks package for a large iron ore project in the Pilbara region of WA. This position is on a 2 weeks on , 1 week off roster role from Perth.

Senior Civil Project Engineer to work on key bulk earthworks package for a large iron ore project in the Pilbara region of WA. This position is on a 2 weeks on , 1 week off roster role from Perth.
Benefits:
- Initial 12 month contract, with good chance of extension
- 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, 140 hour swing
- Long term project, strong project team in place.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil engineering.
- Strong Civil Project Engineering background and previous site experience within mining projects.
- Bulk earthworks project experience
- EPCM or owner side experience preferred
- Strong contractor management experience
- Able to liaise with the client and a range of stakeholders
- Able to track cost, schedule and forecasts
- Able to complete a range of project documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent safety attitude
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and technical support at site and ensure all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Obtain appropriate approvals and document calculations, specifications, and variations.
- Prepare documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
