Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
- CPEng accreditation highly regarded
- Strong mining & materials handling project experience
- SpaceGass required. Strand 7 experience beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in a design focused or EPC role;
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience with mining plant structures design - concrete and steel
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience leading small teams or have management aspirations
- Strong understanding of industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering design and analysis for minerals processing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and project engineers.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination of structural engineering deliverables.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required.
