About the role

• Well regarded locally owned structural engineering consultant delivering specialised structural engineering solutions to the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
• Senior/Lead Structural Engineer opportunity. This person will be versatile and duties will be all round from scoping work, talking to clients, performing site work, design reviews & producing calculations.
• Currently 2 other Structural Engineers . Opportunity to grow the team over the course.
• Work will be focused on brownfield mining and heavy industrial projects
• Able to interface with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders
• Able to perform site inspections and produce a range of project delivery tasks
• Perth CBD location
• Permanent staff role & key leadership role

Key Criteria

• Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
• Strong mining & materials handling project experience
• Senior level experience required
• Demonstrated experience in a design focused or EPCM role;
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience with mining plant structures design - concrete and steel
• Strong stakeholder management skills & able to complete project delivery tasks
• Able to complete site inspections]
• Previous experience leading small teams or have management aspirations
• Strong understanding of industry guidelines
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
