- Senior Structural Engineer required for key onshore oil & gas project
- Focus on the structural engineering design and analysis of steel and concrete structures. These include pipe supports, cable ladder supports, equipment footings, slabs, modification of steelwork in existing structures.
- Utilising SpaceGass and other structural engineering software
- Coordinating structural designers
- Preparing calculation reports and design reports
- Liaising closely with stakeholders
- Perth CBD based with ad hoc site visits
- Initial 12 month contract with strong chance of extension
- Competitive hourly rate offered
- Well regarded engineering consultant
Key Criteria
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
- Strong experience as a Structural Engineer with previous onshore oil & gas experience preferred
- Strong SpaceGass experience.
- Good working knowledge of relevant design codes and standards.
- Ability to produce reports and interface with stakeholders
- Strong understanding of safety in design
- Excellent team skills
