Senior Structural Engineer to join a well regarded consultant. Role will focus on the technical engineering of iron structures as well as checking other engineers work

Qualifications & Skills

• Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
• 8 years + experience as a Structural Engineer with strong mining experience
• Strong SpaceGass experience
• Experience with the design & analysis of mining and material handling structures.
• Good working knowledge of relevant design codes and standards.
• Ability to produce reports and interface with stakeholders
• Strong understanding of safety in design
• Excellent team skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• Utilising Spacegass for the design & analysis of processing minerals plant structures - crushers, vibrating screens, mills
• Coordinating structural designers and checking other structural engineers work
• Preparing calculation reports and design reports
• Liaising closely with stakeholders
• Perth CBD based with ad hoc site visits
