We are seeking a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our client who specialise in Mining & Resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and technical construction support of various structures across a range of projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyse structural systems for a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Perform structural analysis using software such as Strand7 and Space Gass.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Participate in client meetings and present technical information effectively.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• CPEng / RPEQ Qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on Mining.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software - Strand7 & Space Gass
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and industry practices - Min 5 years' experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the mining, minerals processing, energy or heavy industrial sectors
