As a Telecoms Engineer Level II, you will report to the Chief Engineer and Project Manager, bringing your experience in telecom design and execution to help drive project success in the energy, chemical, and resources sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, high-availability networks in industrial environments, with a focus on OT cybersecurity.
- Develop high-level and detailed design documents, including scopes of work and commissioning procedures.
- Manage small teams during construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Work with vendors to ensure project specification compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and factory acceptance testing of PCS network components.
- Provide technical guidance on network design and configure PCS/OT switches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong experience in telecommunications projects with cybersecurity elements.
- Expertise in communication systems design, particularly in the mining sector.
- Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 standards for OT cybersecurity.
- Experience with PCS/OT network switch configuration (Industrial Cisco experience preferred).
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with a focus on quality and performance.
- Experience with multidisciplinary design interfaces, especially electrical, is a plus.
