- Well regarded engineering and fabrication services company servicing the shipbuilding and defence industry
- Welding Supervisor required to work on key shipbuilding projects.
- The role involves overseeing daily welding activities, which includes supervisory duties, welding inspections, quality control, and training. The Welding Supervisor will assist in production tasks related to fit-ups and welding monitoring in compliance with ISO 3834-2 standards. Additionally, the role requires coordination with other departments to ensure that block consolidations in shipbuilding are completed on schedule.

Key Criteria:
- Supervisory skills and experience in leading a team.
- At least 3 years of experience as a welding supervisor in fabrication work.
- Previous shipbuilding or marine sector experience.
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 10 (AS1796 & AS2214).
- inspection certifications, such as CSWIP 3.1 or IIW qualifications beneficial
- Expertise in welding inspection and quality control.
- Previous hands-on experience in welding.
- Strong SMP facbrication/construction experience
- Strong understanding of relevant guidelines
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Able to produce a range of documentation
- Excellent team skills
