Lead SMP Designer (Perth, CBD)
·$ 105 - $ 115 p/hr incl super
·leading a small team with a strong pipeline
·12 - Month contract assignment
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Lead SMP Designer with a strong background leading teams in a mining based consultancies.
Duties:
• Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standard, policies and procedures.
• Facilitate design reviews and coordinate multi disciplined teams
• Communicate with project stakeholders, engineers and client to ensure the success of project deliverables
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
• Ensure all design deliverables are met to ensure success project outcomes.
Key Criteria:
• Highly proficient with MicroStation 2D/3D and Open plant
• Proficiency with OBD Highly favourable
• Extensive previous experience in Mining sector, previous EPC / EPCM experience highly favourable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
