Role Opportunity
Seeking expressions of interest for our well-regarded EPCM clients based in Perth. We are looking for Mechanical Engineer's with a strong focus on material handling and mineral processing systems for both wet plant and dry plant operations. The projects involved will be a variety of Greenfield and Brownfield engineering projects in the resources sector.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in an EPCM or Engineering Consultancy environment
• Proven experience in designing, optimising, and troubleshooting materials handling systems and mineral processing equipment within the resources sector
• Experience with both wet plant and dry plant operations
• Strong background in delivering both Greenfield and Brownfield projects, from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to detailed engineering, construction and commissioning
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for designing and modelling systems
• Solid problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for wet plant and dry plant operations, focusing on efficient material handling and mineral processing
• Prepare concept designs, detailed engineering, and material selection for equipment such as conveyors, crushers, screens, hoppers, chutes, piping and slurry pipelines
• Lead the preparation of technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and project reports
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (electrical, structural, and process engineering) to deliver integrated solutions
• Manage project costs, provide accurate estimates, track budgets, and identify potential areas for cost optimisation
