Role OpportunityBased in the Southwest region, the Condition Monitoring Technician ensures that routine monitoring and analysis tasks are carried out effectively and accurately on critical rotating machinery in line with the company's vision and values, to enhance the availability, reliability, and life of the plant. BenefitsCompetitive salary $120K - $140K + Super (depending on experience) Annual and retention bonuses Relocation assistance (to be discussed at interview stage) 9-day fortnightCareer development opportunities within the company Supportive and respectful workplace cultureEssential Qualifications & SkillsHands-on experience in implementing predictive maintenance strategies, including vibration, lubrication analysis, thermographyFully certified ISO VCAT1 as a minimum; TCAT / LCAT certification highly regardedRecent experience in power generation or heavy industry is highly desirableProficient in the latest data analytics tools and techniques, with a solid working knowledge of a wide range of rotating and reciprocating equipmentExperience and knowledge of CMMS systems, with SAP experience highly regardedStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detailDuties & ResponsibilitiesManage, implement, and improve vibration, lubrication, and thermography-based predictive maintenance programs, including on-site data collection, analysis, and determination of recommendations for rotating equipmentMonitor, perform, and improve the oil and grease maintenance routines across the site to maximise plant life and availabilityAssist with developing Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) strategies and Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA's)Identify opportunities to improve plant availability, reliability, and performanceAssist with root cause analysis to determine the cause of equipment failureCreate and update documentation on a continuous basis (JSAs, Routines, Checklists, Spares, and Procedures)Our ClientIs based in the Southwest region and they are a leading Australian power generation company, focused on delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
