Role Opportunity
In this Perth based role you will be working on the continuation of a major mining project that is at the selection phase study and definitive engineering study. The initial phase of the work will be forward planning in anticipation of this award for a long-term project.
Benefits
- 12 month initial contract (strong prospects of contract extension)
- Hourly rate of $75 - $90 depending on experience
- Reputable EPCM company with a strong portfolio of successful projects
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Proven background in EPCM or ESP project delivery
- Experience with non-process infrastructure, buildings, workshops, Bulk earthworks and civils, utilities (Power, water, comms).
- Experience working on mining study and design projects.
- Exceptional ability to build and sustain strategic relationships
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering deliverables: Oversee design reviews and ensure interdisciplinary alignment.
- Provide technical support: Solve design challenges and optimise solutions.
- Manage cost and schedule: Support cost estimation and track engineering timelines.
- Handle risk management: Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Communicate with stakeholders: Update clients, liaise with vendors, and manage technical reporting.
- Ensure compliance and quality: Adhere to standards and maintain quality control.
- Maintain documentation: Keep records and prepare technical reports.
