Join our Tier 1 EPCM client as a Project Engineer on a major Iron Ore Project. In this role, you will take charge of managing and delivering critical equipment packages, ensuring they meet project specifications and timelines
Duties:
- Be the main point of contact for assigned Package(s).
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, advise Client stakeholders, and work with the EPCM design team to scope the Package.
- Support the EPCM procurement team with tender document preparation.
- Oversee technical bid evaluations, contribute to tender selection, and recommendation for award.
- Manage and review all supplier/contractor deliverables.
- Coordinate with the Site team on delivery schedules and manage post-delivery support for installation and commissioning.
Key Criteria:
- Mechanical engineering degree
- Must have package engineering experience for equipment used on iron ore processing plant
- Previous RIO , BHP , FMG project experience
- Energetic team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience on brownfields projects through tender, procurement, design and construction.
- Experience working in an EPCM environment
