Role Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Perth team, focusing on maintenance and reliability engineering for an onshore gas facility. This role involves delivering expert-level technical support and leadership in areas such as maintenance strategy development, data optimisation, asset reliability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Benefits
- 12-month contract
- Hourly rate of $110 - $120 incl super
- Tier 1 EPCM company with a strong portfolio of projects in mining and oil & gas
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Extensive experience in maintenance engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong background in maintenance improvement techniques such as FMECA, RCA, and RCM.
- Proficient in CMMS systems with a solid understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Provide maintenance engineering expertise in line with client and regulatory expectations.
- Refine and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain CMMS Master Data, conduct criticality analyses, and manage critical spare parts.
- Perform audits and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Conduct inspections of process piping, vessels, and equipment to ensure compliance.
- Support operational and maintenance teams, driving collaboration and safety improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design challenges and enhance specifications.
