Senior Mechanical Designer (Perth, CBD)

·$90 - $ 100 p/hr incl super
·Large Tier 1 Iron ore Project
·6 - Month contract assignment

About the Role:

Great opportunity to join our clients journey working on one of Western Australia's most prominent Iron ore Project.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer with a strong background in Bulk Material handling Projects.

Duties:

1. Work Closely with the Design Team to Deliver the Dry plant design.
2. Liaising daily with Project managers, Designers and engineers.
3. Managing your own time to ensure design deliverables are met on schedule.
4. Ensuring industry standards and compliance are met
5. Making recommendations that will result in better solutions for the client.

Key Criteria:

1. Extensive experience in various material handlings equipment ie Conveyors, chutes, rock breakers etc.
2. Proficiency with MicroStation 2D and 3D
3. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
4. A keen eye for detail, good time management and ability to problem solve.

1. Project is not subject to award and currently in detailed design
