- University Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Role Opportunity
Perth-based, you will be contributing to the successful delivery of a major mining project at the selection phase of a definitive engineering study. The initial phase of the work will be forward planning in anticipation of the project award.
Benefits
- 12-month initial contract (strong prospects of contract extension)
- Hourly rate of $110 - $116 incl super
- Tier 1 EPCM company with a strong portfolio of iron ore projects
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical or Civil.
- Proven background in EPCM or ESP project delivery
- 10+ years' post-graduate experience in Project Engineering WA mining projects.
- Experience contributing to NPI, bulk earthworks, civils and utilities highly regarded.
- Previously demonstrated mining study and detailed design experience essential.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and co-workers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee design reviews and ensure interdisciplinary alignment.
- Solve complex design challenges and provide solutions.
- Support cost estimation and track engineering timelines.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly progress reports and liaise with vendors and key stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, registers and vendor documentation.
