About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a newly established client of ours based on the Gold Coast. In this leadership role, you will provide technical direction and guidance to the Mechanical Team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to detailed engineering and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the Mechanical Team, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions from initial concept to final implementation.Assist with the design and technical development of plant equipment, including Cementitious Paste Fill, Mine De-watering, and various Mechanical Systems.Oversee pressure piping design and develop data sheets for mechanical equipment.Ensure all designs meet relevant local and national codes and industry standards.Prepare technical reports and review deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.Support the preparation of tender submissions, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.Review manufacturer's data reports and vendor documentation to ensure suitability and compliance.Collaborate with the drafting team to create detailed engineering drawings.Contribute to the development of technical standards and best practices.Play a key role in preparing fee proposals and maintaining client relationships.Foster strong relationships within the business network, ensuring long-term success.Perform site inspections across Australia as required.Other duties as assigned by the Principal Mechanical Engineer.You will have: Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering consultant environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is preferred or actively working toward achieving it.Proven project management and coordination skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.Previous experience in the EPC/EPCM sector, specifically within the mining industry.Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality documentation standards.Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and develop solutions.Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support project requirements.Desired Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.A Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable.An Australian-recognised Mechanical Engineering degree that meets the requirements for Chartered membership with Engineers Australia.How to ApplyClick the APPLY button or contact Zander Roubicek on 0427946532 for a confidential discussion.About Titan Recruitment Titan Recruitment is an Australian-owned engineering and technology recruitment consultancy with over 25 years of industry insights.
